Anna and Tony: Rocky Mountain Wedding

Family and friends from all over the world came to celebrate with Anna and Tony as the couple exchanged vows at a friend's ranch about 20 miles southwest of Vail, Colorado. I love shooting weddings like this one—the weddings that truly feel like a celebration and everyone is there to have a good time. It has been so dang hot here on the Front Range this summer; I was happy to escape up to the mountains to shoot this beautiful wedding with Kara of Kara Pearson Photography, who was really great to work with.

Enjoy the photos!

Stephanie and Marty: Coors Field Wedding

Stephanie and Marty are serious Rockies fans. From the venue (home plate at Coors Field, thankyouverymuch) to the reception decor (purple linens, flowers, and cupcakes), this couple roots for the home team all the way. I like.

My cousin works for the Rockies, so I'm pretty familiar with Coors Field, but I have to say it was really very cool to be there on a day when the Rockies were away and we had the whole place to ourselves. The guest relations folks who were there to make sure we didn't get into too much trouble were super patient and accommodating. Despite a false fire alarm and mandatory evacuation (before the ceremony, thank goodness), the day went off without a hitch and Stephanie and Marty threw one heck of a great celebration party. Congrats to you two, and thanks to Kirsten for having me out to be her second shooter.

Enjoy the photos!

Waiting for the all-clear after the fire alarm:

You notice the shirt tied over the fire alarm there? Hee! The alarm went off but the light kept blinking; the boys were resourceful.
