Brittan

Brittan Maassen and I hung out yesterday ... had a glass of wine, got caught up on each other's lives, and took some photos for her portfolio. She's moving to Australia next week. Brittan's my alter ego; I love to travel, but chose to own a horse instead. :) She's worked on cruise ships for years, traveling the entire world and seeing some really neat places.

Brittan love, even though I see you only a couple times a year, I will miss you DEARLY. I can't wait to hear about your adventures and see your photos. Australia is lucky to have you!

Butterfly Cakes and Love

Brandee spent 4 months planning her mom's surprise 60th birthday party at the Pumphouse Brewery in Longmont, Colorado. She brought in local vendors (listed at the end of this post), and her mom's friends came to Longmont from all over the Front Range and as far away as the western slope to help her celebrate.

I met up with Kim, Dan, 13-month-old Jameson, and doggie Abby last weekend for some fun family shots. This is my kind of family: kids, dogs, beer, playing outside ... we had a great time.
