Those Cows Won't Move Themselves

We're about 10 days out from calving, so today we moved the mama cows up from the pasture to the pens near the house.

THIS IS A CHICKEN.

The cows weren't sure about crossing the icy stream.

Tim and Charlie were ALL UP ON THAT.

Srsly if you have never seen a cow dog at work, it's no wonder you still have that Honor Student bumper sticker on your car.

I didn't get any photos of the dogs working cows today, because I was riding up front and the dogs were working behind. I feel dumb when I'm around them, and my IQ isn't too low.

Global Warming is next on the agenda, right after the cows.

And starving children.

But first we had to get the girls to cross the next stream.

Cows are a little iffy about crossing things. You know your cows are happy when crossing a bridge is their biggest concern.

Tiny cornerCows!

We've all heard this before, but: MONTANA TRAFFIC JAM.

This dog, Charlie, ate my ACT scores and then rewrote astrophysics:

Good job, dogs.

This is a pretty girl:
