Holly + Pat: Colorado Wedding

Annnnnnd I've fallen in love with another one of my couples.

I counted, and I cried four times during the day while I was photographing Holly and Pat's wedding. Yes, they're pretty to look at; and yes, Pat's little girl is too darling for words; and yes, they got married at my all-time favorite venue ever; and Pat and Holly, surrounded by people who love them, are impossible to not fall in love with.

I love this shot of Anna waiting for her toenails to dry:

She has more patience than I do.

Lucy, Pat's little girl, had her ears pierced not too long ago, and this was her first time taking her earrings out. I remember how that feels. She was pretty brave!

Pat and Holly did part of their getting-ready at the guest house together. But then they got distracted, so Pat had to leave. :)

It started to get a little crowded:

I can't remember who this little boy was, but I know he loved Holly. Holly is a kid magnet--during one of the toasts, someone mentioned that once his kids had spent time with Holly, they didn't want to go home to their parents.

(Yes, this is the part where I cried)

(And also here)

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I feel super lucky to be shooting my own weddings these days ... I have the best clients ever. A huge thanks to Pat and Holly for allowing me to be part of their day, and to Scott and Kellie for the referral. You ALL are the best. Love.

Meredith: A Senior Session

I think I'll just let these images speak for themselves and hope it's evident that photographing Meredith and her animals was a complete joy!

We're in the midst of wildfire season here in Colorado ... slurry bombers were flying overhead every few minutes. But we're tough and fires don't bother us.

We had a great time making these photos--hope you all enjoyed them! Thanks for stopping by. :)
