My friends Ryan and Jen came over today so they could introduce me to their daughter Ashlinn and so Ash could meet all my critters.
She wasn't really sure what to think about the chickens at first. The rooster said "COCKADOODLEDOO" and Ashlinn said "LOUD NOISE LOUD NOISE!" Her parents are pretty sure she's a genius and I say it runs in the family.
It took her about 10 seconds to warm up to Jay.
Pretty soon she was BFFs with all of my animals.
Ash is super duper cute. She likes to spin and make monkey sounds and give the puppy kisses. And her parents are really cool, too.

You're an amazing photographer and an even more amazing person (if that's even possible!). You'd think from the photographs that this was a complex photo shoot, but it seemed like a nice, relaxing morning where we were lucky enough to meet and reunite with some old friends, animal and otherwise.
h-po, you're kind of a rck star. though to be fair, i think it'd be hard to take a bad photo of that kid!
