Somehow I bribed my good friend Amy into letting me try out my new lens on her yesterday. She flew in from California to brave the Colorado weather in short sleeves and really cute ruffly shoes, which I insisted she wear but then didn't shoot even once. :)

In between shots, we hung out upstairs at the West End Tavern on Pearl Street to warm up and chat.

I have got to start picking uglier friends. People were asking what we were shooting for ... when I told them that Amy was famous, people started wanting her autograph.

That's just silly.

Srsly, Amy was such a good sport. It was 19 degrees outside and the wind was blowing.

I mean, reallyreally funny:

The end.

What cool shots!! Loved looking at them! So, I'm Amy's longtime friend and she told me it would be ok to ask you more about your photos :) Can you tell more about your lens? What is it? Did you stay at one fstop or change around? Man, those are neat! I'm a photographer too, love to talk shop!! Feel free to email me Corrie@clb-photography.com
Hi Corrie, thanks for stopping by. :) I remember your name--just hearing Amy mention you in high school.
These were all shot with a Canon 45mm f/2.8 tilt/shift. Pretty sure all the ones you see were shot wide open. Hope that helps! It's a fun lens so far but I haven't even had it a week yet.
These are simply stunning images, Haley! I kind of hate you now... ;)
Julie, it's not every day that one of my favorite photographers tells me she hates me. :) I think I'll take it as a compliment.
Please take it as a compliment. Your work has been blowing me away lately! loved the pics of my sister, obviously, but your stock show pictures and latest baby bath shots were ridiculous Keep up the good work, M'lady!
