The Cows Were Gone

For the past year, I've been whining about the lack of nearby trailheads, compared to the miles and miles of trails right outside my back door in Montana. Sooooooooo, the mutts and I were pretty excited to find this great big empty Open Space pasture right across the road from where I work.

We got kind of a late start, so we were hiking back after sunset.

These are all with the (fabulous) plastic 50 but I think next time I'll bring the 70-200.
