Gilbert

I'm way behind! Hoo boy! I have three sessions to post, and I will get them done, promise. It's been wildcrazybusy here at Casa de Mutt but I'm determined to be caught up by the middle of the month, when I'm leaving for three days in Crested Butte with some of my family and all of our dogs (expect wildflower photos).

This is Gilbert.

Greg and I shot him up at Chautauqua last week. His mom just moved to Colorado, and is in the process of becoming a foster home for one of our local Lab rescues AND she's getting a second permanent Lab in a couple weeks. Brave one, she is.

Gilbert, Gilbert. Gilbert is all Lab. Goofy, maybejustalittle clumsy, super-sweet. I think he was laughing the entire time.

Greg got lots of neat action shots of Gilbert running--and I mean hauling tail--towards his mom up on the trail. I can't figure out what to do with them in Lightroom, though, so I sent them to Greg's house for processing. Stay tuned for those. Even with a monopod-gone-MIA, they're tack sharp and super yummy.
