Copper and Bones

By far the best quotable line from this session (and the days leading up to it) was:

"Cop is on the bed and Bones is down on the floor chewing on a baby."

Um.

YESH.

First of all, these dogs have the greatest names in the entire world.

Meet Copper:

And their mom, Kay Beth:

Today was the first time we'd met. I've been following her adventures through South America on her blog for months now, so when she said she was coming up to Colorado for a couple weeks, we knew we had to meet! After all, anyone who loves her dogs as much as I love mine is a good egg in my book.

Kay Beth adopted both her Goldens from Sooner Golden Retriever Rescue, in Oklahoma.

I think they love her. A little bit.

We played a game of Tangly Legs in the parking lot.

Copper thought it was really funny.

Bones is a little more serious.

OMG. (Cute.)

Poor Bones has some sore hips, so his mom takes very good care of him. Don't you think if the whole world showed this much compassion, we'd be better off?

MEAN!

This is one of my favorites. Can't explain it; it just is!

(Much better.)

Oh Haley! I soooo love the pics! You did such a wonderful job. Thank you so much again. The pups are absolutely exhausted. Bones is sacked out on the floor and Cop is up in the bed with me wondering how he got to be such a good-looking dog. Bones and Copper send you very wet, very slobbery kisses. MUAH Hawey!

The first b&w is my favorite. I love Bones and Copper! Their mom is pretty darn sweet, too.

I went back for my like 93rd look and guess what?!? More pics of my favorite two boys! I just can't get enough. You really did an incredible job of capturing their spirits. I absolutely love every pic. Big smiles...still.

Spectacular Haley....KatieB must be out of her mind after seeing these! I like the one of her lifting the baby...I used to do that 4 times a day plus with my sweet girl..never minded a bit, as I am sure she does not. Simply spectacular
