Say My Name

Help! I am having sizing issues (and it's not because of the cheesecake I ate for breakfast. And lunch.)

Which one of these do you like better? I can't find a happy medium. I like the 4 frames of the first one, but the overall size of the second one better.

Let me know which one you like better, oh dear readers-o-plenty, and your wish will be my command.

Haley,
I can´t even begin to put into words how much I´ve enjoyed your site. Your Aunt Connie gave me the link...she knows what an animal lover I am as well.

You really are talented. I´ve been meaning to send you a message for awhile now but just haven´t done it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Katie! Hi! I've been reading your blog, too! I love your writing. But quick, come back- you missed this post before I added a question to it, and I need your opinion!

Hopefully we'll get to meet one of these days... maybe some blueberry picking in P-Creek?

Hmm...that's a tough one. Rule of thumb is to use an odd number, so that would be the second one.
But, personally, I've always been one to be drawn to symmetry, and I like the extra frame in the first one.
How's that for a non-answer answer?

I like the 2nd. Bigger=better. =)

I think I like the progression of the first set better. It just feels right.

I like them both but the three frames-there's something about it. What do I know?!

Hi,
Well it's a tough call cause they are both interesting. But my first instinct was the 2nd one with the three frames. The larger images caught my eye and I too like that it's an uneven #. Overall, such a neat idea, what is it for??

Thanks everyone for your ideas!

This was taken yesterday during our Tuesday Morning Meetup- I had exactly 4 images on my camera from the day! The dogs were all sort of in a snow coma... I think Char was super worn out from the previous day's snowshoeing adventure, so she was content to just poke around in the snow and make doggie snow angels- so anyway, we didn't stay very long.

When I got home and uploaded the images, this was the one I liked, and I don't know... it just immediately felt like it needed to go in a progressing frame like this. I don't know if that's what it's called- I made it up! I guess it's not really "for" anything in particular- I just liked it.

Thanks again for your ideas (even if some of them WERE particularly ambiguous- lol) and for taking the time to comment!

The progression of four seems to add more of a sense of action or movement. But the sizing of the other one does grab your attention. Another ambiguous response.

I have to say I like both very much...they each give a different feel, but I usually like tighter shots in general so my vote is the second.....Merry Christmas!

I like the first one best.

No wait, I like the 2nd one best.

No, the first. Yeah, the first one.

For sure, I like the 2nd one most.

Oh heck.

Can't you make the first one as big as the 2nd one, because then that would be the one I would choose,

Merry Christmas!!!!!

p.s. Maybe you should go with what Denise said. She has excellent taste- (like in dogs, friends, the town she lives in.......)

First of all your photography is amazing! I love the second one, the bigger one.

Dear Haley,

You are so talented and I'm not just saying that because you're my daughter. :) I agree with
Emily R.S. (who also happens to take lovely photographs) on the progression.

Well you guys are just no help at all.
;)

I guess I'll have to leave both of them up. Hopefully it'll stop sleeting/raining/snowing in the next day or two so I can just take and post NEW pictures so that I can stop obsessing over this one!

It literally keeps me up at night. Do you think maybe I need something else to worry about? ;)
