You Did Vote, Right?

Photobucket

Hi oh my gosh I can't write anything right now because I am too excited about the election. I had to get out for a long walk today or else I would have been climbing the walls. First, though, I did go to the Tuesday Morning Meet-up. So you know how I always always have my camera? Well, I didn't this morning, because I thought I would be too busy watching the news all day to do any blogging. Which is kind of true, but here I am, but turns out I'm babbling. ANYWAY. The point is, I went for a walk this morning and I didn't have my camera OF COURSE because I saw a pair of bald eagles perched on a tree near the creek. I will have to into detail about how devastated I was about that, but it'll have to be later. For now I will just s
ay that it rocked, and eagles are special to me.

OMGOSH I'm still babbling. Here are some pictures from the afternoon walk, which of course was eagle-less. In fact, the only wildlife I saw was a giant banana slug and also a couple of Republicans. Okay, okay. Here they are, and I promise to save my political commentary for a separate blog.

Republicanus Washingtonius? OMG! You didn't "harvest" them did you? You know they're now on the Endangered Species List!

lol!

Well, the Republicanus Washingtonius is not native to the state, so my plans to remove them should be considered okay under any reasonable environmentalist's plan. They seem to have been transplanted here from towns (mostly small) around the US. They have all settled within a 3-mile radius, rendering driving, intelligent conversation, and critical thinking virtually impossible.

They seem to be multiplying at alarming rates, though, so it's possible there's just a bug in the water that is affecting their endocrine systems.

I don't drink that water.
