i have a cattle dog/terrier mix--the most food driven dog i have ever met--who is constantly staring at me. i can only guess that she is trying to use doggy telepathy on me in an attempt to get food.
She's got you in her crosshairs, there's no saving you now!

Ack! She's doing it again! This time she's standing about 3 feet away from me and is looking at me as if she wants to tell me that she has solved Global Warming.
