Meet Chill:
Oh hai! I have no idea how this happened! It's almost a miracle:

***Agh! This post is not done, obviously. I am having a hard time uploading and resizing and then I switched to flickr and..... so check back later this evening- things will look better!
I had serious plans to be productive today, since I spent the whole week doing fun things with family and friends, but my good intentions slipped away when I found the peanut butter.

Love the new format of your page, Haley! It's beautiful! How do you get that effect of black and white with pale pink in the background? Your stuff is so amazing!
Kristy- do you mean the one reddish wall? That wall is actually a reddish brown in real life... I just tweaked my white balance in Lightroom. Or do you mean the header background? Now I'm nervous, because on my screen that is white. I have been having some calibration issues, so if you'd let me know, that's be awesome! I am always afraid I don't see things on my computer they way others see it.
Yes, it is the reddish wall I'm talking about. On my computer it is definitely a dusty pink (salmon) color.
I'm getting so pissed at my photography lately. I suck. I'm good at composition. I have a good idea for setting up a photo. It's the technique I suck at! I use only my auto settings. Isn't that sad?! I have a photographer friend who makes fun of me for that very reason. He wonders why I have an expensive camera but don't know how to use it. (big sigh...) I also have to get some schooling on some new lenses.
Did I tell you I suck?
Kristy, stop that right now! That is stinkin' thinkin'!
I think if you are happy with your pictures and like the way they turn out, screw anyone who tells you you're not "doing it right." Ptttft. (That's me sticking my tongue out.)
If you ARE interested in learning about how your camera works, there is a great book called "Understanding Exposure" by someone Pattersen that I found helpful.
But in the meantime, turn that frown upside down and keep shooting!
The last photo of Char in the scarf is my faaaavorite! :) She looks so...avant-garde. hehe
Loving your pictures even if I don't comment. Keep up the awesome work! :)
Cute pics as usual. I love the dog in your scarf. Have you ever thought about dressing up the dogs like that guy did to the Weimaraner's?? BTW, what is that little handicapped pic for next to the word verification?
